If you actively trade covered calls and cash-secured puts, the hardest part usually isn’t the strategy — it’s the upkeep. Positions live across two or three brokerages, the metrics that decide a roll (days to expiration, delta, premium captured) have to be tracked by hand, and the moment to act is easy to miss. Avnia Wealth was built to take that weight off: it consolidates every account into one view, keeps your option positions front and center, and tells you exactly when and how to roll.

This FAQ walks through how Avnia works, how it keeps your data secure, and what it costs.

Quick Summary

  • One consolidated view: Connect your brokerages by secure login or CSV and see every equity, option, and cash position in a single dashboard.
  • Options command center: Track DTE, delta, premium captured, and remaining time value on every position, color-coded by urgency.
  • Explainable roll recommendations: Get clear, rule-based guidance on when and how to roll — with the reasoning shown every time.
  • New opportunities: Scan your holdings and cash for eligible covered calls and cash-secured puts, plus a daily news brief tied to your positions.

Getting Started

Avnia takes you from scattered accounts to a single, actionable view in a few steps.

Step 1: Connect Your Brokerages

Link your accounts through SnapTrade — a secure brokerage-integration service that uses OAuth-style logins — or upload a CSV export for any brokerage you’d rather import manually. Avnia aggregates your equities, options, and cash into one place — no logging into three platforms to piece together where you stand.

Step 2: Review Your Portfolio and Options

Your dashboard opens on a consolidated snapshot: total value, daily and year-to-date change, and allocation across equities, options, and cash. The options view lists every open position with the metrics that drive a roll decision — DTE, delta, premium captured, and remaining time value — color-coded so the positions that need attention stand out.

Step 3: Act on Roll Recommendations

Avnia applies a consistent set of rules to each option position and flags the ones worth rolling — then shows its work. A recommendation reads like: DTE 1, 85% premium captured, delta 0.34 → roll to next week’s $310 strike for a $2.10 net credit. You see the reasoning behind every suggestion, decide what you’re comfortable with, and place the trade at your own brokerage.

Step 4: Find Your Next Trade

When you have cash to deploy or shares to write against, Avnia scans for stocks eligible for new covered calls and cash-secured puts and ranks them by potential premium yield — so finding your next income trade doesn’t mean starting from a blank screen.

How Roll Recommendations Work

What rules does Avnia use to suggest a roll?

Avnia looks at a consistent set of signals on each position — how close it is to expiration, its delta, how much of the premium has been captured, and whether rolling can be done for a net credit — and it avoids suggesting rolls around earnings. Every recommendation lists the specific numbers behind it, so you’re never asked to act on a black box.

Does Avnia place trades for me?

No. Avnia is a decision-support tool, not a trading platform. It surfaces recommendations and the reasoning behind them, but you execute every trade yourself at your brokerage. That keeps you fully in control of what does and doesn’t happen in your accounts.

Is this financial advice?

No. Avnia provides rule-based, educational recommendations to support your own decisions. It is not a licensed financial advisor and does not provide personalized investment advice — the choices, and the trades, are yours.

Accounts & Security FAQs

How does Avnia connect to my brokerages?

Through SnapTrade, a brokerage-integration service that uses secure, OAuth-style logins — so your credentials go to the brokerage rather than to Avnia. For any brokerage you’d prefer not to connect directly, you can import positions with a CSV upload.

Is my data safe with Avnia?

Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2+. And because Avnia never submits orders or moves money, a connected account cannot be traded or withdrawn from through Avnia.

How often does my portfolio update?

Avnia refreshes your portfolio automatically each day, and you can trigger an on-demand refresh whenever you want the latest positions and prices.

Fees & Pricing FAQs

What does Avnia cost?

Avnia offers two plans, Starter and Professional. Starter gives you the consolidated dashboard and options view; Professional adds explainable roll recommendations, the eligible-stock scan, portfolio-tailored news, and on-demand refresh. See the pricing section on our homepage for details.

Are there extra fees for placing trades?

Any trade you place happens at your own brokerage and is subject to that broker’s commission schedule. Avnia’s subscription covers the dashboard, metrics, and recommendations — it doesn’t add a markup on top of your broker’s fees.
